When it came to choosing our builder, Domaine Homes stood out for a few key reasons. One of the biggest was their “Price Your Home” tool, which gave us complete transparency from the start. We could explore different options like adding raked ceilings, a butler’s pantry, and a fourth living area and instantly see how those choices would impact the overall cost, with no hidden surprises along the way.
We also fell in love with the Oatland 32 acreage design. The space, layout, and overall functionality felt like the perfect fit for how we want to live and of course, the value was hard to ignore. After comparing with several other builders, we found we could save nearly a third on the build cost by choosing Domaine Homes. For us, it was an easy decision.

For the exterior, we’ve kept things neutral to complement the interior, pairing it with a slightly darker roof to help maintain a clean, timeless look on the acreage.
Inside, we chose the Acacia colour scheme for its blend of soft whites and warm timber tones. We wanted a space that feels light, airy, and timeless—something that will look just as beautiful years from now as it does today.
In the kitchen, we’ve opted for a designer layout featuring 20mm stone benchtops and a waterfall island, creating a central space that’s both functional and visually striking. We’ve also included a classic white subway tile splashback and handleless overhead cupboards to add a subtle touch of luxury.
For the bathrooms, we upgraded to the deluxe package, which includes a freestanding bath, floor-to-ceiling tiles, and a semi-frameless shower screen—elevating the overall feel into something more refined and spa-like.
